MIA Staff Visited the National Security Education Exhibition
Macau International Airport always actively participates in social activities on national education. CAM has participated in every exhibition event since the 1st National Security Education Exhibition held in year 2018, which enriched staff’s understanding on the background and connotation of the holistic view of national security and strengthened their awareness of national security. With the accompany of Consultant of the Office of the Secretary for Security Ms. Wong Hong and Deputy Director of the Judicial Police Ms. Tou Sok Sam, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Dr. Deng Jun, Executive Directors Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan, Mr. Lei Si Tai and Mr. Leung Henry Yee Hang led almost 50 company colleague and staff from Airport Information Management Solutions and SEMAC Security Company to visit the National Security Education Exhibition on 21st April 2022, which was co-organized by Macau SAR Government and Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR.
With six themes of the exhibition displayed, namely “Great Achievements in the Country’s Development”; “Adherence to the Holistic View of National Security and Continuous Optimisation of the National Security System”; “Remarkable Achievements of National Security in the New Era With a Focus on Preventing and Solving Major Risks”; “Promotion of Steady Progress in the Implementation of the “One Country, Two Systems” Principle With a Spirit of Strengthening the Foundation for Consolidation of It and of Tackling Challenges Head On”; “The Work of Forging Ahead Diligently for Further Contribution to Overall National Development”; and “the Work of Passing on to New Generations the Torch of Patriotism for the Country and for Macao and the Advancement of a Unified Effort to Safeguard National Security”. Staff were provided valuable opportunity to review the development journey that the country and Macau in the fight against the pandemic of the century under the guidance of the holistic view of national security over the past year. In addition, they have also been updated with the progress and effective measures that the MSAR government has put in place for safeguarding national security and ensuring the consistency of implementation regarding the “One country, two systems” principle in Macau. The exhibition has also displayed the winning works of the “My Understanding of the Holistic View of National Security” Writing Competition held earlier, demonstrating the strong awareness of Macau youths concerned about national security.
