CAM (Official name: CAM - Sociedade do Aeroporto Internacional de Macau S.A.R.L. / Macau International Airport Company Limited) was founded on 18th January 1989. CAM is the public concessionaire of Macau International Airport, which it built and manages under a 50-year government concession, until 2039. Airport development, financing, marketing and airport operation are the main responsibilities directly executed by CAM, while it subcontracts key airport operations to various specialist service providers in order to ensure efficient running of the airport to international standards.

CAM has always been integrating “Safety, Efficiency and Effectiveness” as core value for operations and formulating strategies for the sustainable development of the Airport. CAM vigorously promotes and markets Macau International Airport to the worldwide aviation community, which is in line with the MSAR Government policy in building Macau as a World Tourism & Leisure Hub. Providing world-class service quality is a top corporate priority, and remains the cornerstone of CAM’s continuous effort to improve passenger and cargo services and facilities.

The registered capital of CAM now is MOP 6,280 million. In respect of ordinary shares, the Macau SAR government is the major shareholder of CAM, with a 66.73% stake in the Company. Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM) has a 28.32% share, and the remaining shares are held by a number of Mainland Chinese, Hong Kong and local investors.

Airport Development Planning institute airport development strategy, plan for the future directions, coordinate relevant units to be strictly in compliance with business.
Airport Marketing air traffic and routes development for both passenger and cargo services, also looks after express link and trucking transport service, airport image and promotion, traffic statistics and analysis, aeronautical related business.
Commercial Development develop and manage airport retail and duty free shops, food & beverage, exchange shops, CIP services, advertisement, tenancy, and non-aeronautical business.
Sub Concessions and Operation Management operational contracts management, monitor and audit operators performance & service level, safety, security and compliance issues.
Legal Support legal support to corporate and airport business, review of documents of legal relevance, facilitate the preparation for new contracts.
Infrastructure Development plan and execute airport construction projects and upgrade systems and apply information technology, facility management, environmental management with culture and green essences.
Corporate Communication Promotion of corporate and airport image, public relations and cooperation with industrial entities.
Financial Management handling airport charges with airlines and airport customers, invoicing and settlement of fees & charges, credit policy & control, revenue coercive action, procurement as well as project financing.
Airport Management Aerodrome management including slots negotiation & allocation; monitoring of traffic rules and licensing regulations; cleaning, waste removal and pest control; passenger terminal management; provision of air traffic & aeronautical information and communications services; airport and air navigation maintenance and safety management.
Internal Audit Corporate risk management; checking and assessing the defect of internal control systems and measuring the efficiency of operations, conducting value-for-money audits, to achieve cost savings, effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Airport Information Management provided by subsidiary of CAM, namely AIMS which is in charge of development and maintenance of the Airports IT systems, maintenance of Airport Operation Data Base (AODB) and Fight Information Display System (FIDS), provides IT consultant service and IT projects management services, as well as operates the airport website (macau-airport.com) for providing information of Macau international Airport and E commerce purposes.
Airport Security provided by a joint venture of CAM, namely SEMAC which provides airport security and patrol service.
Other services full range and high technical services are provided by several supplier companies well known worldwide, such as Menzies Macau Airport Services Ltd., the ground handling agent and supplier of aircraft maintenance; SERVAIR the airport’s inflight caterer, Nam Kwong Petroleum & Chemicals Co., Ltd., the fuel supplier company, etc.

Airport Operations Department (AOD) provides high quality services and contributes to environmental protection through the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System in full compliance with the ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.

Aerodrome Certificate
Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) holds the Aerodrome Certificate for the Macau International Airport (MIA), with the dedicated and talented team of professionals that meets the requirements of the Macau Civil Aviation Authority (AACM) to develop MIA into a safe, reliable and efficient airport, adhering to the core value of the company “Safety, Efficiency and Effectiveness”.

Air Traffic Control (ATC) Service Provider
Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) is authorized to operate and maintain the service and respective systems with a team of licensed controllers and dedicated engineers.
