Signing of Memorandum of Cooperation between Macau International Airport Company Limited

 In order to facilitate the cooperation and alliance between airports, from 17 -18 June 2009, a delegation led by Ms. Liu Suning, Executive Director of CAM visited Changsha and signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between Macau International Airport and 5 airports under Hunan Airport Management Group ltd including Changsha Huanghun Airport, Zhang Jia Jie Hehua Airport, Changde Taohuayuan Airport, Yongzhou Lingling Airport and Zhijiang Airport. Two Airports would broaden their cooperation in respect of sales marketing, training and management aspects, to meet the objective of jointly developing new markets and win-win situation.

During the ceremony, Ms. Liu presented the recent development of Macau tourism, culture and economy as well as the business situation of Macau International Airport in the first half of this year. She also expressed that through the communication and cooperation with airlines, a new route between Macau and Changsha is expected to be opened in the second half of this year.

Mr. Liu Yuehui, deputy director of Hunan Government office also said that the Hunan government will give full support for the cooperation between two airports to strengthen each other’s competitive advantages and mutual benefits as well as facilitate the economic and regional cooperation.
