Chairman Deng Jun Paid Visit to CCAA

Dr. Deng Jun - Chairman of Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) led a delegation to pay a visit to Director General Wang Ruiping of China Civil Airports Association (CCAA). As the director member of CCAA, CAM brought CNY blessings; two sides discussed changes in the development of China civil airports and had in-depth communication on strengthening cooperation and exchanges in the future.

Dr. Deng introduced Macau International Airport (MIA) received more than 9.6 million passengers in 2019 with a year-on-year increase of 16%, over 77,000 aircraft movements were handled, representing a yearly increase of 18%. Relying on the development advantages of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area, MIA interpreted the specific meaning of "small airport, big action" with real performance. Capacity expansion and process improvement will come with MIA becoming into a ten million level airport. Secretary General Li Xiaomei introduced CCAA's work achievements in 2019 and goals in 2020. Ms. Wang, Director General expressed that CCAA always takes serving to members and industry development as the purpose. According to the general working idea of civil aviation in the new era, and the construction and development goal of "four kinds of airports", CCAA will actively serve members' needs and serve as the industry government's staff assistant, open up more space for cooperation and exchange, strengthen training in the industry, and play a role as a bridge. Chairman Deng expressed that as the director member of CCAA, the performance of CCAA showed new direction, new requirements, new action, which opened up more space to the future development. MIA is welcoming its 25th anniversary; MIA will continue supporting the work of the association, in such aspects as training and exchanges cooperation projects, sufficient to perform the duties of the Macau International Airport as director members of the council, jointly committed to the development of China civil aviation. From 2019 CCAA work saw a new direction, new requirements, new action, CCAA opens up more space, to the future development of Macau International Airport will continue to support the work of the association, in such aspects as training, exchange more cooperation projects with CCAA, perform the duties and jointly committed to the development of China civil aviation.
