In recent days, in view of the severe situation of pneumonia with novel coronavirus infection, Macau International Airport highly valued the situation, took prompt actions, actively planned and deployed the epidemic prevention and control work, to ensured the safety and stability of all staff.

MIA has provided all staff with surgical masks, personal protective equipment, alcohol-based hand rub at different spots, and other disinfection protective equipment, and required the staff in close contact with passengers to wear surgical masks, personal protective equipment, regular disinfection and other protective measures to ensure their own safety. All staff have been required to be subject to pre-service temperature monitoring, dynamic monitoring and contact history with people in Hubei, the abnormal staff would suspend work and get home isolation. For the constructors and labors of MIA projects, daily health declaration and residence location or Hubei contact history are requested to report. Body temperature monitoring and mask wearing before entering airport project sites, and personal hygiene from time to time. In case of any abnormal body temperature or other symptoms detected, it has to be reported to management team immediately, and the related staff or labors shall be suspended from work for medical assessment.

CAM will collaborate with the government continuously regarding preventive measures against the novel coronavirus. Additional preventive measures will be considered according to actual situation to assure health and safety of all staff and labors.
