On 28th April, 2020, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Dr. Deng Jun and the new Executive Committee members, which include: Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan, Mr. Lei Si Tai and Mr. Leung Henry Yee Hang, visited the Airport Station of Macao Customs and had work exchanged with Mr. Kong Hong, Comissioner and Ms. Tai Iok In, Senior Inspector of Macao Customs Service.  To understand the daily work of the airport customs station and the various equipment and facilities they have equipped.  The members of the executive committee listened to the relevant introductions, and wished to deepen the corporation in all aspects with Macao Customs, and jointly maintain the safety of the border.

As the gateway to the world, Macau International Airport (MIA) depends on the close cooperation among all operation units and government departments, established good cooperative relations over the years, in order to create a safe and orderly operating environment and enhance the rapid development of the airport.  Airport customs is an indispensable and important part of airport operations. It is responsible for preventing, combating and curbing illegal trafficking and customs fraud, to maintain the international reputation of the Macao Special Administrative Region.  During the exchange, the Executive Committee affirmed the long-term work and contribution of the airport customs, and wishes both parties can continue in depth cooperation in the future, to establish a good communication system and jointly promote the high-quality development of MIA.
