Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM), continues to supervise Subconcessionaires and Service Providers to actively carry out the Macau SAR Government’s and the Macau International Airport’s (MIA) epidemic prevention and control measures.  From 27th September 2021 onwards, Subconcessionaires and Service Providers shall ensure their staff entering the workplace in the Airport to present the proof of vaccination against COVID-19, and /or alternatively, the proof of Nucleic Acid Test in negative result within 1 to 7 days depending on different workplaces.

MIA as an important defense line for entering Macau, protects the Macau society and ensures the personnel safety and health of the airport staff, at the same time, MIA is effectively prevents the spread of the epidemic to neighbor regions and is responsible for the prevention and control of the epidemic to the Mainland and neighbor regions as well.  MIA has been urging personnel working at the Airport to get vaccination against COVID-19 for raising the vaccination coverage rate in order to achieve herd immunity and effectively prevent the spread of the epidemic to the community.  Hence, in order to implement the epidemic prevention and control works to establish an immune barrier, all Subconcessionaires and Service Providers should continuously adopt various epidemic prevention and control measures while to encourage the staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and lastly, to update CAM regarding the staff’s vaccination information in a continuous manner.
