CAM Awarded Staff and Airport Entities for Outstanding Performance in Pandemic Preventive Measures Implementation

The COVID-19 epidemic situation is still complicated. Macau International Airport as an important gateway for Macau’s air transportation, actively cooperates with Macau SAR Government in implementing various preventive measures and striving to ensure the safety and health of Macau society and staff. As discussed in Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) epidemic prevention working group meeting, staff, departments and airport entities with outstanding performance in pandemic prevention work were proposed to be awarded and affirmed for their serious attitude and high awareness for epidemic prevention and strictly implement epidemic preventive measures. Executive Committee of CAM accepted the proposal and approved the resolution, certificates presentation was held on 3rd to 4th May 2022 by Executive Committee members, as an encouragement for their excellent working performance.

Furthermore, anti-pandemic gift bags are recently distributed to staff with at least 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccination as at 31st March 2022 to thank and recognize their hard work in pandemic prevention and being united to build anti-pandemic barrier for the airport.

Dr. Deng Jun, Chairman of the Executive Committee, awarded Ms. Katy Lo, Director of Executive Committee Office, for continuously gathering pandemic prevention information for study by management and acting as the communication channel of emergency directive.

Dr. Deng Jun, Chairman of the Executive Committee, awarded Corporate Communication & Policy Research Office for paying close attention to pandemic development, reporting airport pandemic prevention and control information timely, and avoiding negative reporting.

Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Executive Director, awarded Ms. Christine Chung, Senior Manager of Pac On Terminal Preparation Office (Airport Operations), for assisting with detailed implementation of pandemic prevention and control system for airport frontline staff.

Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Executive Director, awarded Marketing Department for facilitating the establishment of NAT station, MIA service team, and inspection team for blocking loopholes.

Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Executive Director, awarded Airport Operations Department for preventing imported cases, developing airport prevention and control system which implements diversion and separation plan to handle medium to high risk flights, and developing airport closed-loop management prevention system as requested by Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Civil Aviation Authority (AACM).

Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Executive Director, awarded SEMAC Security Company for playing an outstanding role in pandemic prevention as frontline and ensure quality service in terms of hygiene, safety, and security.

Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan, Executive Director, awarded Finance & Administration Department for dynamically enhancing pandemic prevention guideline for staff, vaccination encouragement program, and pandemic prevention facilities in CAM Office Building.

Mr. Lei Si Tai, Executive Director, awarded Planning and Commercial Development Department for coordinating with subconcessionaires and service providers to promote vaccination.

Mr. Lei Si Tai, Executive Director, awarded AIMS - Airport Information Management Solutions for supporting pandemic preventive work and ensuring the information system and cybersecurity operation function properly.

Mr. Lei Si Tai, Executive Director, awarded Logistic and General Aviation Development Department for coordinating pandemic prevention and disinfection measures for cargo and cold chain food.

Mr. Leung Henry Yee Hang, Executive Director, awarded Infrastructure Development Department for coordinating the pandemic prevention requirement of construction workers with construction contractors to ensure the progress of airport projects.
