On 8th August 2023, Mr. Tony Cho, Special Assistant to the Chairman of STARLUX Airlines Company Limited and his delegation paid a courtesy visit to Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) and received by Mr. Chan Weng Hong, Chairman of the Executive Committee of CAM and Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Executive Director of CAM. Both parties exchanged views and discussed the future development plans of STARLUX Airlines and the future expansion plan of Macau International Airport (MIA).                             

During the meeting, STARLUX Airlines introduced their plan to develop new routes to MIA in the future, and is planning to deploy more wide-body aircrafts to operate routes between Macau and Taiwan region, and develop more long-haul flights from Macau to North America (transfer at China Taipei). CAM also hopes to strengthen the cooperation with STARLUX Airlines by developing more long-haul route services, luggage check-in and other diversified services to passengers, and encourages STARLUX Airlines to develop more travel services through cooperation with the gaming enterprises of Macau.
