Through the coordination and efforts of various units, Air Macau re-launched flight service between Macau and Guiyang on the 19th August 2023, the resumption service to Guiyang reduced the transfer hassle at the third airport, which enriches holiday planners with more travel options and at the same time strengthen cultural and economic exchanges between the two places. The new flight service provides twice weekly services on every Wednesday and Saturday, departing Macau at 7pm, and arriving Guiyang at 9pm; each flight duration approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. The airline held a simple inaugural celebration at both Macau International Airport (MIA) and Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport on the same date, marking the official launch of flights between Macau and Guiyang. Mr. Eric Fong, Director of Marketing Department (MKD) of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM), and Ms. Fiona Fong, Deputy Director of MKD represented to attend the activity. As always, MIA will continue to work closely with airlines to jointly develop more new destinations and provide safe, comfort, and hassle free journey to travelers.
