The Integrated Airport Management Centre (IAMC) of Macau International Airport (MIA) is officially opened on 30th April 2024. Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Mr. Simon Chan and President of Civil Aviation Authority of Macao SAR Mr. Stanley Pun unveiled IAMC with Executive Directors of CAM Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan, Mr. Lei Si Tai and Mr. Leung Henry Yee Hang, Director of Airport Operations Department (AOD) Mr. Gary Geng with the witness by General Manager of Air Macau Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhu Paibo, Managing Director of SEMAC Security Company Mr. Leong Hon San and Head of Planning of Menzies Macau Airport Services Ms. Shirley Ung and other guests. It is looked forward that the official opening of the IAMC would enable a more systematical operational management by technological means.

The IAMC was established with an area of ​​approximately 260 square meters and 27 seats. Currently, staff from key operational units including the Airport Operations Department of CAM, Engineering Department monitoring station, Air Macau, Menzies Macau, SEMAC have stationed into the Center. Chairman Chan stated in his speech that IAMC integrates and manages airport resources to ensure safe operations and unified coordinated management, so as to achieve the goal of improving operational efficiency and improving service quality through Situation Awareness. President Pun believed that the launching of IAMC could better promote the application of digitalization in aviation, it could realize the transmission of air traffic management data between international parties and bring new opportunities to the development of the civil aviation industry in Macau.

It is expected to provide a smoother boarding procedure, accurate flight information and fast luggage handling for passengers after the official opening of IAMC, so as to passengers can enjoy a more pleasant travel experience.
