In order to enhance passenger experience, the North Car Park of Macau International Airport (MIA) has been temporarily closed from the early 2024 for the retrofitting project to enhance the traffic and transportation zone at the North of the Airport. Upon completion of the project, the North Car Park has been reopened recently for public use, providing 12 coach pick-up/drop-off spaces and 178 private car parking spaces.

A sunshade canopy has been installed at this MIA new Coach Pick-up/Drop-off Area which will provide passengers with a comfortable shelter from adverse weather elements include rain and heat.

In the meantime, the traffic flow has been reorganized to enhance transportation capacity and parking convenience at the airport. In the future, the airport will be planning additional service improvement measures to ensure passengers to enjoy a more efficient, convenient, and pleasant travel experience.
