The 22nd EAAA Annual Meeting hosted by Korea Airports Corporation was held on 14th to 15th November 2024 in Seoul, South Korea. Executives from 13 EAAA member airports have presented in this occasion. Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Mr. Chan Weng Hong and the delegation attended the meeting.

The meeting was held offline for the first time since the lifting of the epidemic restrictions. The theme of this year was “The Future of Airports”. The leaders and representatives of each airport spoke on the above topics and made suggestions. Director of Information Technology Development Department and General Manager of Airport Information Management Solution Limited (AIMS), Ms. Sharon Wang introduced in her presentation on how to integrate advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, and automation in airport operations to enhance operational safety and efficiency, thereby providing passengers with safe and seamless travel experience. She also shared the insights and practical experiences of Macau International Airport in smart airport development by utilizing technology to plan for the future growth of the airport.
