As the Chinese New Year is coming, Mr. Ma Iao Hang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) along with the Executive Committee members visited Macau International Airport on 13th February 2026 to inspect the pre-festive preparation.  They reviewed the progress of the airport expansion and reclamation project and frontline operations, including flight schedules, staffing, passenger services, check-in, and security processes, ensuring smooth airport operations during the holiday period.  The airport places high importance on Chinese New Year flight assurances, closely coordinating with airlines and various units. Operational teams are deploying extra staff, developing work plans, flexibly allocating resources, and enhancing on-site collaboration to swiftly handle emergencies and guarantee efficient handling of peak passenger flows.

At the same time, Chairman Ma took the opportunity to extend Chinese New Year greetings and sincere thanks to staff across operational units.  During the inspection, renowned local calligraphers were writing festive couplets in the terminal, presenting passengers with joyful Chinese New Year blessings full of warmth.  The event will be held from February 13 to 16, between 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the airside of the Departure Hall. To create a lively and warm festive atmosphere, Macau International Airport has prepared vibrant and eye-catching New Year decorations, hoping to usher in a pleasant and comfortable Spring Festival journey for every passenger amid an auspicious and celebratory ambiance.
