Macau International Airport Representatives Participated in the Route Development Forum for Asia Held in Okinawa
The 15th Routes Asia Forum organized by United Business Media Group and hosted by Okinawa Prefectural Government and Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau took place in Okinawa, Japan from 19th – 21st March, 2017. Representatives from Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. (CAM), Mr. Eric Fong, Director of Marketing Department and Mr. Daniel Lam, Manager of Marketing Department participated in the forum. The three-day forum attracted 930 route development professionals from 110 airlines, 170 airports and 20 tourism authorities. Routes Asia is one of the most important events in civil aviation industry, providing a professional and pragmatic platform for airports and airlines to seek cooperation for future route development.
CAM representatives had participated in over 20 meetings and met with various prospective airlines, airports and tourism organizations from North America, Australia, Southeast Asia and India who were interested in the Macau market. This year, new routes are expected to launch to Nagoya, Kota Kinabalu, Jakarta and Bali. Macau International Airport willfully utilize the advantage of the aviation right and develop more routes in order to diversify routes combination.
