Macau International Airport Staffs Join the 2017 World Challenge Day
On 31st May 2017, Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. (CAM) was invited by the Macau Sports Bureau for the tenth consecutive year to participate in the World Challenge Day. CAM hosted the activity at the departure hall (airside) of Macau International Airport (MIA), where many passengers joined and exercised together with the staffs from CAM, Administration of Airports Ltd. (ADA), Airport Information Management Solutions Ltd. (AIMS), Companhia de Segurança de Macau Ltd. (SEMAC) and Menzies Macau Airport Services Ltd.. More than 80 staffs from MIA participated who put aside their work temporarily and exercise with professional dancing team from the Macau Sports Bureau.
The World Challenge Day is a worldwide fitness program organized by the International Mass Sports Association (TAFISA) & the Association of Asia Pacific Group (ASFAA), which promotes sports through the call for public participation in physical exercise, and "lifelong sports" with the hope for everyone to get into shape and enjoy the fun of sports, thus develop sports and healthy activities in Macau. According to the draw results from TAFISA, Macau will compete with the city of Varna in Bulgaria this year, with a population of about 334,000.
