Macau Express Link Downtown Check-in at Hong Kong Shun Tak Terminal
(Hong Kong, March 19, 2007) Macau International Airport in association with Turbojet, Air Asia, Tiger Airways and Viva Macau launched the second travel excitement to Hong Kong following the success of the “Let the Excitement Begins in Macau” promotion last year and to announce the new Macau Express Link Check-in Service for bringing easiness to Hong Kong travelers flying Macau,
An announcement was made today (19 Mar) at Hong Kong Shun Tak Terminal in G02 where the Express Link Check-in Service located. Executive Director of Macau International Airport Company Limited, Ms Suning Liu and Deputy General Manager of Shun Tak – China Travel Ship Management Limited, Ms Anna Hong together kicked off the ceremony. Other guests from Macau Government Tourist Office, Macau SAR Aviation Authority, airlines guests, and related operators were also present at the press event. Full details of the service were unveiled at the event and media has been invited to run a trial on the service.

Macau International Airport newly introduced Macau Express Link Check in Service in March, with the objective to offer seamless service and convenience for those air travelers from Hong Kong. They can check-in themselves and luggage for their flights at special counters at Shun Tak Centre G02 in Hong Kong, freeing from going through the bustle of immigration or customs procedure. Upon arrival in Macau, travelers can simply hop on the “Express Link” bus to the departure lounge of Macau International Airport and fly off to their destinations.
The participating airlines – Air Asia (http://goholiday.airasia.com), Tiger Airways (http://www.tigerairways.com) and Viva Macau offered irresistible airfares and holiday packages, particularly to attract travelers looking for innovative travel.
