Dr. Deng Jun, Chairman of Executive Committee of CAM visited Air Macau Company Limited on 26^th February 2018 and exchanged views on the local civil aviation development trend and in the Greater Bay Area with Mr. Chen Hong, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors and General Manager of Air Macau and the other management staff. They jointly discussed how to make good use of resources in Air Macau for passenger and freight transport to enhance the quality and timeliness of market strategies in connection with the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

According to the statistics, over 4 million passengers using Zhuhai Airport are destined for Macau. This proves that tourism in Macau is attractive but the relevant tourism packages need to be upgraded. This year, Air Macau will adopt the "upgrading quality and increase quantity” principle, to improve the quality of service in the face of rapidly growing passenger traffic in order to maintain steady growth. The two sides also pointed out that the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is in acceptance procedure and will be put into operation in the near future. MIA will continue to support on facilities required by Air Macau to increase passenger and cargo capacity. Check in and other service that can be pre-reserved can be implemented on the Virtual Terminal. The North Extension of the terminal has been put into operation before the Spring Festival, with more spaces opened for passengers to take a rest. Next, the airport will continue to follow up with the relevant units and launch other hardware facilities, including boarding gates and clearance facilities upon arrival.
