Dr. Deng Jun, Chairman of Executive Committee of CAM led a delegation to visit Mr. Wan Jingping, Chairman of BOD of Zhuhai Airport Group Corp. and other management personnel in early March 2018. In the new era of rapid development of civil aviation, the demand for civil aviation development in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau Bay Area is frequent. Both sides promptly update each other's development trend so as to enhance the civil aviation reception capacity and efficiency in the region. The two airport management also had on passenger and freight exchanges to understand the market structure and development direction.

According to the information of Zhuhai Airport, the CDM system has greatly improved the release rate of airport flights since it was put into trial operation in late 2017, enhancing the passenger's air travel experience at Zhuhai Airport. In addition, the East Point Corridor was officially opened in early February 2018 which allows Zhuhai Airport to accommodate 12 million passengers a year.

According to relevant statistics, most of the Macau International Airport (MIA) flight in 2017 passes the Hong Kong flight information region (FIR). In the case of limited airspace, the flights punctuality rate of MIA performed better in the area. In 2018, Macau will launch scheduled flights to Europe. Air cargo will be re-established to attract more full-fledged aircrafts to Macau when the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is completed and used. During the Typhoon "Hato", the upper outer layer of glass of the passenger terminal building was damaged. After a series of insurance examination, glass materials and installation quotation and approval procedures, the special glass is on delivery period which is expected to take longer period of time. Installation is expected to be completed to restore in the third quarter this year.
