n February 2018, Chairman of Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) – Dr. Deng Jun led a delegation to pay Chinese New Year courtesy visit and had business information exchange with the Mr. Zhang Jian – Director of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Central and Southern China Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB). Both sides updated and introduced the latest air traffic technology to step up the development of Macao civil aviation industry.

Dr. Deng expressed his gratitude of the long term support from CAAC Central and Southern China ATMB and briefed Macau International Airport (MIA)’s performance in 2017 and development planning of this year. Director Zhang Jian noted that arrival punctuality directly affects passenger air travel experience, and the arrival punctuality and operating efficiency significantly improved of which airports had introduced the Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) System. Through research and analysis, MIA is ready to introduce CDM system from Southern China ATMB, in order to improve service quality and increase passengers’ experience and satisfaction.
