In February 2018, Dr. Deng Jun paid a visit to theCAAC North China Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB) Air Traffic Control Center and was warmly received by the Deputy Director General Mr. Mu Yang.

Chairman Deng expressed the Spring Festival blessing to Deputy Director General Mu Yang and thanked the North China ATMB for its support to the development of Macau International Airport (MIA). Mr. Mu led the representatives to visit the air traffic control center. It was introduced that the daily flights in Beijing Capital Airport is more than 1900 at its peak, almost one movement every 45 seconds; and the daily flights are more than 1700. Flights takeoff and landing at Capital Airport are secured and optimized in the shortest time.

With the rapid development of Macao tourism and the growing demand for Macau International Airport, the North expansion of passenger terminal building of MIA has been officially put into use. The south expansion is going to start with open tender in the first half year. In the future, upgrade will be carried out on runway, radar, communication, navigation equipment. It is hoped to be able to further strengthen communication and cooperation in the aviation industry with the North China ATMB.

After the visit, the delegation came across the festive activity, and the Secretary of the Training Center wrote couplets and presented to Macau International Airport on site.
