To enhance communications between the airport and AACM, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Dr. Deng Jun and the new Executive Committee members, which include: Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan, Mr. Lei Si Tai and Mr. Leung Henry Yee Hang have paid visit to Mr. Simon Chan, President of the Civil Aviation Authority (AACM) on 15th April, 2020, to communicate a series of work plan from the airport and local aviation industry, to set a clear goal and format, and work together for mutual development.

During the epidemic prevention period, both sides have closely communicated and cooperated with the requirement from the SAR Government, to implement the precaution work effectively.  At the same time, to set up timetable and work plan for infrastructure and development after the recovery of the current situation. Both sides have in depth discussions on the fields of transportation, infrastructure, expansion, operation, finance and cargo.  And exchanged information from policy to industry rules and development trends, hoping the situation on the second quarter will be controlled as to stimulate movement of the people, and the aviation industry will be better round the corner, and drive local tourism.  Mr. Chan specially reminded all the airport operation units should be well prepared and optimized for the resumption of normal operation.
