Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM)'s Executive Directors, Mr. Chu Tan Neng and Mr. Lei Si Tai and their delegation were invited to visit Heli-Eastern in Shenzhen, a leading helicopter services provider in Greater Bay Area of China. It aims to expand helicopter services in Macau. The visit took place on 14th February 2023 including site tour and business exchanges.

With the relief of the epidemic and the rapid development of general aviation in the Greater Bay Area, CAM paid attention and expressed interest in the operational situation of Heli-Eastern and its feasibility in launching services at the Taipa Ferry Terminal Heliport in the future.

The site visit was led by Mr. Liu Jian, Director of Heli-Eastern, who introduced their company's services and facilities to Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Mr. Lei Si Tai, and their delegation. It included a visit to the Great China International Exchange Square Helipad and the main operating base in Yantian Shenzhen.

In the subsequent meeting, both parties delivered their presentations. Heli-Eastern representatives shared their experience and development plans in the general aviation industry, while CAM’s representatives introduced the current situation and future plans for the Taipa Ferry Terminal Heliport. Both sides had in-depth discussions on jointly exploring the development of general aviation between Macau and other cities in the Greater Bay Area, and their willingness to establish long-term co-operations.

Executive Director of CAM, Mr. Chu Tan Neng stated that the expansion of Heli-Eastern's business and market exploration is worthy of attention and learning. He looks forward to launching various services with the company at the Taipa Ferry Terminal Heliport in the future, so as to promote the overall development of the general aviation industry in the Greater Bay Area.
