From 28th to 29th May, 2024, Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Executive Director of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM), and his delegation were invited to Shenzhen to participate in the ‘2nd Conference on High-Quality Development of Civil Aviation in the Greater Bay Area’ hosted by the Central and South Regional Administration of the Civil Aviation Administration of China. Participants included the civil aviation administration units, airports, airlines and civil aviation universities in the Greater Bay Area. On behalf of Macau International Airport, Mr. Chu Tan Neng Executive Director briefly explained the operation status and future development trends of Macau International Airport and put forward five suggestions to jointly promote the high-quality development of the civil aviation industry in the Greater Bay Area. During the meeting, he met with Mr. Li Shuangchen, Director-General of the Central and Southern Regional Administration of Civil Aviation Administration of China, and had in-depth exchanges on issues such as Macau International Airport expansion Greater Bay Area airspace planning, traffic management, operational safety and low-altitude economic development.
