On 19th April 2024, the 7th CAPSE Civil Aviation Innovation Competition announced the winners of the Innovation Award. The project of “Focusing on the “Aviation + Resort” model and creating a beautiful travel ecosystem in Macau” jointly launched by Air Macau and Macau International Airport won the “2024 Innovation Award”.

The project focus on customer service, including check-in services, baggage services, shuttle bus services, online service, cooperation with resorts. It is aiming to achieve the passenger’s experience via city terminal, leisure and entertainment integration for promoting the diversified tourism development of Macau. Macau International Airport is committing to improve service quality innovation capabilities so as to provide passengers with more service options.

According to report, the CAPSE Innovation Award collected a total of 745 innovation cases. At the end of the competition, 64 outstanding innovation cases were won the CAPSE Innovation Award, accounting for 8.5% of the total reported cases. The value of the cases can be described as the highest in history.
