The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart 2024 was held in Bangkok, Thailand from 27th to 29th August 2024. Representatives from Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) attended the event together with the Macao Special Administrative Region Tourism Office (MGTO) and representative from the industry, discussed the current development of the market between Macau and Thailand with the local tourism sector. PATA Travel Mart is one of the significant annual international tourism industry exhibitions, and this year over 900 participants from 45 countries and regions worldwide were attracted. This event gathered tourism industry from various sectors, to deepen its connections with the Thailand’s tourism industry, which will help promoting the development of Macau’s tourism and expand the international tourist markets.

In addition, as a board member of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Director of Marketing Department (MKD) Mr. Eric Fong represented the company to attend the PATA Board Meeting on 30th August. Representatives from various regions shared and discussed the topics related to recent developments in tourism, allowing Macau International Airport to further communicate and connect with the global tourism industry through this platform.
