CAM Representatives Attended the North Bund International Aviation Forum 2025
The North Bund International Aviation Forum 2025 was successfully held in Shanghai on 19th October 2025. The event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, and organized by the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission, Shanghai Hongkou District People’s Government, China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited, Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Airport Authority, China Eastern Air Holding Company Limited and China Classification Society. Under the theme “Collaborating for Sustainable Global Aviation Development”, the forum brought together nearly 300 experts and representatives from the civil aviation industry and its supply chain to discuss cutting-edge trends and share innovative practices.
The forum featured addresses by the Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, the Deputy Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Deputy Director of the Bureau of International Cooperation of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited, and the Chairman of the Shanghai Airport Authority, among others. Representatives from multiple airlines, airport authorities, and research institutions shared the latest technological achievements and practical case studies on topics such as digital intelligence, smart airports, green aviation, and digital transformation.
Several key outcomes were announced during the forum, including Shanghai Airport—Easy Transit, Easy Connection (translation) and China Eastern Airlines—Global Passenger and Cargo Network Development (translation), highlighting the significant progress made by China’s civil aviation sector in intelligent and sustainable development.
Mr. Ye Hong, Chief of Shanghai Representative Office (SRO) and Mr. Yu Feng, Senior Assistant of SRO, represented to attend the forum. Through this exchange, CAM’s delegates gained deeper insights into the latest developments and management approaches in smart aviation and green energy conservation in Mainland China. They also strengthened communication and expanded collaboration networks with various industry representatives, laying the groundwork for enhanced aviation cooperation between Shanghai and Macau.
