Macau International Airport Service Center Established in Shenzhen Shekou
Macau International Airport (MIA) Service Centre located at the Shenzhen Shekou Cruise Home Port was officially established on 7th November 2025. The service centre will provide real-time flight information and professional immigration consultation services for travellers from Shenzhen and surrounding areas. The opening of the service center supports future plans to introduce sea-air transfer services, including check-in and baggage through-check services, between Shekou Port and Macau International Airport, marking a significant milestone in cross-border transport collaboration between the two locations.
The opening ceremony was officiated by President of Civil Aviation Authority of Macao SAR (AACM) Mr. Pun Wa Kin; Tourism Promotion Division of the Shenzhen Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Bureau Mr. Huang Qiongxing; Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Mr. Chan Weng Hong; Assistant General Manager of the Shenzhen Shekou Cruise Homeport, Mr. Liu Rukun.

The visit focused on understanding the current sea-air intermodal check-in services, baggage security screening, and through-check procedures. The delegation also toured the newly built helipad within the cruise terminal to explore the potential future transport connections. This inspection provided valuable insights for establishing an efficient and seamless multi-modal transport network between Macau and Shekou.
