Macau International Airport’s Participation in Walk for a Million 2025
The 42nd Walk for a Million, organized by the Macau Daily Readers Charity Fund was held on 14th December 2025. In addition to a prior donation to the Charity Fund, Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) assembled a team of over 100 staffs from its subsidiaries, including Airport Information Management Solutions (AIMS) and SEMAC Security Company (SEMAC) to participate in the event, to demonstrate sincere support to social welfare initiatives.
Preparation for the Walk for a Million involved organizing teams, transporting banners and supplies to the gathering point. It was accomplished through the collective efforts of all units, highlighting the strong cohesion and team spirit within. The team led by the Chairman of the Executive Committee, Mr. Chan Weng Hong, Executive Directors, Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan and Mr. Lei Si Tai, set off from Macau Science Center at around 11 a.m. and walked along Avenida Sun Yat Sen to the finishing point at A-Ma Temple. Throughout the walk, the Charity Fund coordinated various groups to showcase charity performances, creating a vibrant atmosphere as the team completed a walk of approximately 3 kilometers. Participating staffs took photos at the finishing point and joyfully concluded the event in the spirit of “doing good for charity is the greatest joy”.
