CAM Partnered with Air Macau to Engage with the Macao Jiangmen Communal Society on Route Sharing

In order to further expand the passenger base and strengthen the connections with the local community, Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) partnered with Air Macau to organize a route sharing session at the Macao Jiangmen Communal Society on 23rd January 2026. This initiative aims to offer members an in-depth overview of the airport’s growing route network and seamless travel services, while promoting diverse travel options from Macau, encouraging more travellers to consider Macau as their preferred departure hub.

The sharing session sparked an impressive wave of enthusiasm, drawing a vibrant turnout from members of the Association who eagerly engaged in the event. During the meeting, Mr. Eric Fong, Director of Marketing Department of CAM, delivering an insightful overview of the airport’s present route network. He painted a vivid picture of how Macau serves as a hub connecting travellers to major destinations across the Mainland of China, China Taiwan, Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia. Beyond routes, he dived into the range of passenger services and amenities available, while offering a glimpse into the airport’s ambitious plans for future growth. Furthermore, Mr. Rock Li, Senior Marketing Specialist from Air Macau, highlighted the airline’s standout flight services and the recently launched promotional ticket packages, allowing participants to make travelling from Macau more convenient and budget-friendly. In the interactive Q&A session, participants eagerly posed questions about flight scheduling, improvements to transfer services, baggage handling processes, transportation links to and from the airport and potential route expansions, contributing constructive feedback and enhancing communication.

This event succeeded in cultivating meaningful interaction and engagement between Macau’s aviation sector and the public. Through the direct communication and experiences sharing, it’s not only enhance the brand awareness of Macau International Airport and Air Macau, but also significantly deepened the public’s understanding of airport services. Looking ahead, MIA is determined to host similar initiatives, aiming to consistently highlight the benefits of choosing air travel from Macau. These efforts actively support Macau’s integration into the coordinated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area while contributing to its ambition of becoming a world-class international tourism and leisure hub.
