Macau International Airport (MIA) Mascot Design Competition starting from 10th July to 8th September 2017 and is now inviting the Macau public to design mascots showcasing MIA’s role as a vital gateway of Macau, the World Centre of Tourism and Leisure and grows up with Macau and connects the city with the world all the way.

A professional jury formed by representatives of Macau local organizations, including Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM), Macau Artist Society, Macau Designer Association (MDA) and Institute of Macao Civil Aviation (IMCA), who will shortlist the entries in aspects of theme expression, creativity, painting skills and colouring. The three categories of prizes are Open, Tertiary Institution and Secondary School. Each category will have one champion, one first runner-up and one second runner-up winners respectively. To join hands with the public, 20 entries will also be shortlisted from each category for the public to vote for the winners of the top three favorite mascots online. Voters can also enter a lucky draw for a chance of winning 10 MIA gift packs respectively.

Each entrant may submit a maximum of one design for the competition, stick to the theme with an interesting and characterized mascot as MIA’s goodwill ambassador. The awarded design may be applied in a variety of MIA’s public promotion materials.
