As to enhance staffs’ acknowledgement on consular protection and consular service, Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) has invited Ms. Liu Yufei, Director of the Consular Affairs Department of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of People Republic of China in MSAR to host a seminar about consular protection on 18th July, 2018.  

In the seminar, Ms. Liu has introduced the work of China’s Consular Protection, and how the Chinese embassies and consulates provide assistance when Chinese citizens encounter difficulties abroad, as to protect their legitimate rights.  Meanwhile, Ms. Liu also reminded our colleagues when travelling; we have to comply with the laws of those countries, and respect the local religious etiquette and culture.  By sharing different cases, it makes our colleagues to aware of the importance of preventive consular protection, to prevent various types of risks and raise the awareness of crisis when travelling aboard, and to better protect their own safety.  She also introduced the Global Consular Protection and Service Emergency Call Center from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their service hotline.
